Nelson Mandela stopped racism, apartheid and any controversies between the whites and blacks. He fought for equal rights between the whites and blacks and wanted peace through out South Africa. He fought for his country and the well being of others.

Nelson Mandela changed the world by struggling against oppression in his country of South Africa. He spent 27 years in prison because of his views against apartheid, and showed the world that people should fight for what they believe in.
