Ancient Greece and ancient Rome influenced the United States Declaration of Independence as general inspirations for the Founders on behalf of 'natural rights' and self-government alike, among other socio-political and philosophical concepts. The discovery (or, invention) of democracy by the Ancient Greeks was a central phenomenon for the Founders, as was the republican-style government of Rome prior to its imperial stage of development.
They influenced our form of government in the united states, because they used a democracy. So we copied them basically. So they helped out by making a democracy which we use as a ruling of government
The Greek experiments with democracy and the Roman style of republics were well known to historians, and political thinkers for hundreds of years. This was during the heyday of the divine right of kings to constitutional monarchies. It was the founding leaders of what would become the United States that placed some of these ancient values into practice.
The US Constitution was a new experiment in its time. Kings & despots world wide wanted no such forms of government in their domains.
The Greek and Roman governments influence the united states by
1). by the law
2).also by the things that they did
our government sucks..,... by the way i am a douchier
Yes it was
This question is really an opinion, but I would say that it would have to be Greece because Greece layed down the foundations for both of the other civilizations. Actually no, it didn't. Greece was a Democracy where the people ran the government and Rome was actually a Republic with representatives. Considering the U.S. government is a Democratic Republic, I would have to say Rome and Greece influenced the country's government.
The Rome civilization is American's most influenced government. This is in the Western part of the world.
it never did.
People of the Renaissance were influenced by Classical ideas that came from ancient Rome and Greece.
