the country had to depend on the women who now worked in factories and jobs that would have never been theirs. They worked making munitions and cloth to send to the fighting troops and sending food. The food was also becoming a problem, the families depended on food rations that the government would give out based on the number of family members. Also the best of the food would be sent to the soldiers in the war. It was after the war that women finally obtained the right to vote thanks to their help in running the factories and maintaining the economy stable.

well after the war, they didn't benefit much; they had to demobilize the armed forces, and had the fear of espionage. They also faced many other post war problems, and did not get anything out of the Treaty of Versailles that ended World War 1. the only thing they received was the Leagues of nations, which didn't last long and was a factor that caused the second world war.

But in the long run, they did. Most new technologies, such as the x-ray, aircraft carriers, tanks, blood banks, and gas masks are still used and a very useful today. Many medical advancements are still used today; the blood bank was established, gas masks made, and x-rays made. there were many other benefits that helped America as well.

After the war, most of Romania's Russia's and France's industry was destroyed by the war, the Japanese, British, and Italians were financially exhausted and lost most of their man power in the war. Austria-Hungary, Turkey, and Germany had the worst of it with financial exhuastion, political upheaval, and the loss of most of their industry and manpower due to the war and Treaty of Versailles.

The US on the other hand faced fairly light casualities compared to the other nations and were far enough from the conflict to keep their industry safe from their enemies. This allowed them to keep a monopoly over the world for many decades
