It began in the beginning with the United States still under British rule. Because of the optimal growing conditions in the South many of the farms and plantations in the colonies were established there. As large cities and factory towns began to gain speed in the North a left-wing mindset began to take over and the industrial revolutions were brought to America. As the population grew in the North the South's crop production soared and as a result the agri - culture was deeply embedded in the South. Due to the fact that not many people wanted to (or knew how to) do anything other than farming no one ever did.
(The fertile soil is probably the big one to look for though)
The south was growing food and tobacco so they had lots of agriculture. Virginia = John Rolfe & perfect tobacco = PROFIT $$$ = TOBACCO Carolinas = help barbados with food = rice + indigo
Mainly through commerce. Also important was agriculture and mining of the surrounding area. A strong army was essential and if it was a mother-city (metropolis) so was the colonies.
some concerns with agriculture are the the infrustrural activities implemented in agriculture, because people who went to school and need a job in agriculture cannot get jobs , so therefore there has been alot of complaining about this type of economical activities.
Yes it says so in my social studies book
Because of the agriculture based economy in the south. Plantations couldn't develope in the north because of the poorer soil quality and shorter harvest seasons in the North-- luckily for the north, they had embraced a market (capitalist) economy so they had factories to rely on. The south had richer soil and a longer, more ideal harvest season. Because there were fewer factories, there was plenty of land. Plantations began to spread as a result and slavery boomed in the south.
Mostly because of slavery torwards the black people and the whites did not like the color of blacks so they took action.
The Tonkin Gulf set it off.
I assume you want to become a botanist. Study horticulture. There are not many colleges dedicated to horticultural only. Horticulture is a branch of agriculture so check out agriculture colleges.
All countries in the south of Africa have fertil lands. Congo, Angola, Mozambique and Ghana. All the north of Africa is dessert so (no agriculture).
Because the South was where all the great agriculture was. So the south kept working the way they did while the north found ways to make money off of the abundance of supplies in the south.
The advantage of a political group is that it aligns people who share views on policy, and gives them strength in numbers. A disadvantage is when people become so entrenched in their views they are unwilling to compromise for the greater good.
South Asia supports far more than a million people. It does so through the various countries economies, trading, manufacturing and agriculture.
the three types of agriculture are: -agriculture of substance -commercialized agriculture -specialised agriculture (I'm translating from french, so it might not be the exact pronounciation.)
Because the south was mainly cotton produced--and trains at that time wasn't built to go very far, the South had to rely on the North for food because the North was so widely diverse on manufacturing, agriculture and more. So then this leaves the answer being: the south was dependent on the north for food supplies.
the purpose of the department of agriculture is we farm so you can live.
Because in the south agriculture and farming were the major industries, while as in the north it was factories. The farming way of life in the south and southerners wanting to hold on to that life was one of the causes to the civil war.
Sparta was a community that depended on agriculture so there life was technically dependant on agriculture, there way of life was agriculture and war, and Athens depended on trade.
