An individual life is generally created somewhere between when the sperm and egg from the same species merge to form an embryo to it either coming out of the womb or hatching. A specific definition of exactly when life comes about does not exist.

They come from humane society if they are not sick. They don't take animals off the street. Most of the the animals come from breeders that supply animals to laboratories.
rain forests have animals because there are no droughts, and the plants grow more so most animals have something to eat. and the more animals that are attracted to plants there are gonna be more animals attracted to the animals that eat the plants. so more animals come to the rain forest and therefore there are animals there. its the cycle of life.
