Destroyed buildings, killed and wounded people. The threat of being bombed at night required that cities have all lights turned off, and people either built simple bomb shelters, or slept in the underground subway system.
The bomb itself was unusual. Some people were evaporated then further away skeletons began appearing. Some distance away there were people dead fully burned. Also, person appeared living but with burns over most of the body. No one has seen a bomb doing such damage as it was unusual.
It vaporised people, burned them dead and brought radiation poisoning.
None. The blitz refers to bombs dropped on England, not Germany.
Over 2,000,000 people thats loads of people
They used nuclear and atomic bombs.
The blitz mainly happened at night so the British could not see the planes and rocket bombs coming.
Most of the bombs (and the V-1 and V-2 missiles) exploded above ground in London, which is why people took shelter in the subways and in basements. Unfortunately, some bombs were made heavy enough to penetrate the ground before exploding. Other bombs destroyed buildings which then collapsed into the subterranean shelters.
