A theory on how cooking started is that a fire burned down some ancient people's home. Inside were pigs who became cooked because of the fire. Seeing the pigs our ancestors did not want to waste the precious meet and so they ate the pigs. They liked the cooked meet and so they continued the process of burning the pigs which as many, many years passed developed into cooking.
