One answer is that seven days to god might be millions of years to humans. Humans think of days as one rotation of the earth. Before the earth was created, perhaps there was another measure of a "day".
Dinosaurs are part of the creation made by almighty God in the beginning. Most of them perished in the great flood of Noah's day and thus were buried, many of them heaped together by water in great fossil 'graveyards'.
Dinosaurs are mentioned in The Bible under various names, since the term itself was not created until long after the Bible was written.
There is absolutely no conflict between true science (versus naturalistic philosophies) and what the Bible teaches. Much evidence, indeed the majority of the evidence according to astronomer Dr. Russell Humphreys, supports a young earth less than 10,000 years old, which of course supports the Bible details relating to Dinosaurs.
Many evolutionary-believing scientists themselves acknowledge the major flaws and contradictions between scientific facts and the details of Darwinian evolutionary theory, as it relates to the Dinosaurs. Despite elaborate stories, the fossil record does not actually contain any evidence of Dinosaur evolution. Interestingly the discovery of 'fresh' Dinosaur tissue by Dr. Mary Schweitzer also supports the idea that Dinosaurs did not die out that long ago as it is inconceivable that the tissue and red blood cells etc could survive intact for the imaginary multi-millions of years even under the best conditions.
The existence of dinosaurs in the fossil record is not inconsistent with God having created the earth and the heavens, as long as the earth was created billions of years ago. It is quite clear that the dinosaurs evolved over a period of many millions of years, and that dinosaur species became extinct at different times during the Jurassic and Creataceous Ages, with two great extinctions, one of which finally destroyed the last dinosaurs.
Religions must adapt if they are to avoid conflict with scientific knowledge. In that vein, Yair Zakovitch, Dean of Humanities at Hebrew University is quoted as saying, "The thing to remember about the Bible is that the events and characters are just vehicles to convey messages. The biblical narrative was written to educate our young nation, not so much to tell us what really happened."

Dinosaurs need not be "explained." There is no reason not to believe that they were contemporary with humans before the Flood. See also:

It isn't, the Creation Museum is just stupid. They also think that the creation in Genesis took literally seven days even though the original writing refers to seven long and indistinct periods of time, not seven 24-hour days. They think the universe is only a few thousand years old and they refuse to accept any sort of science that disagrees with them.
Seven days...
Yes they did Jesus created the universe and everything in it he did it in six days so animals could only go extict thanks pangs33 for being correct.
