The allies were able to gain a strong foothold in France.
Britain obviously
Nationalism; patriotism
no because they dont have strong enough forces and they needed help
WW2 mainly started because Germany took advantage of taking over countrys or u can say colonies, this was let by france and britian who did nothink but just sit and act innocent. afterall they needed to be strong if they wanted to go in war with germany, but they were not that strong enough after ww1 when they were really badly heat and lost alot of money and soldiers. Britian and france only did this because the country was very weak and didnt grow that quick they were still repairing. they were bein nice to germany only because they wanted peace and they wasnt really strong enough to go in war. britain made a promise that it will protect poland fronm any danger and germany thought that the two great allies (britain and france)wont do anythink but britain did react to this and this is what led to war. thankz bye :)
napoleon Bonaparte made France stronger.Napoleon Bonaparte was know as a great military leader
A moderate constitution was drawn up in 1848. It called for a parliament and a strong president to be elected by the people. France accepted a strong ruler. In December 1848, Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte, the nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte, won the presidential election. However, the people of France had wanted a generous democratic republic, but instead the Constituent Assembly completed a constitution featuring a strong executive. Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte then declared himself Emperor Napoleon III of France against the wishes of the National Assembly. So ultimately in place of a democratic republic, France was left under a Dictatorship.

France is Capitalist, but it has a strong leftist (mainly socialist) influence.
It is said that King Louis XIV ruled France with greatness and glory. He was a strong leader and completely reformed the country from what some called a country of savages to a calmer, more refined people and way of life.
The Napoleonic wars were Louis the XVI's downfall. France was unable to maintain sufficient supply lines, and could not maintain their armies. So France fell under the rule of Napoleon. Some people say they're army (France's) wasn't very strong then, so they lost...Others say that France wasn't ready for Napoleon. But they're both almost exactly the same answers... :)
He had a strong following among the military, was seen as anti Royalist and willing to to take a hard line stance against the Catholic church.
First, to prevent future French aggression by surrounding France with strong countries. Second, restore a balance of power, so that no country would be a threat to others. Third, restore Europe's royal families to the thrones they had held before Napoleon's conquests.
