I think we have the freedom to do what we want. With proper family management i believe, the Population problem can be overcome.It was very difficult on the people of China for several reasons. If they were farmers, which there are many, the wanted children to help on the farm. Also, since there are no social problems for older people, the children take care of their parents and grandparents when they get old. As life expectancy rises, that means there are many 4 generation homes with only one child to take care of all of them. The worker would have children, parents and grandparents. Often what has happened is the grandparents take care of the family and the "workers" goes to the city to earn enough money to pay for them all.
