The people of the group have discovered how to make oil palm groves to spread and have talked about planting other groves but so far have done nothing about it.

Oil palm seeds and grain seeds last a long time. When the last ice age ended, part of the year became dry. Grain seeds lasted all year long but only grew part of the year. The discovery of the bifurcated point made plows and pruning hooks possible. Thus, the need for grain year around, the knowledge of how to create it, and the technology to get it, all came together at once.
