How did the salt get into the sea you ask? my theory is that the water in the ocean was once just regular water but when fish came and evaporation was first discovered the water gets evaporated into small pieces and turns into small crystals and with all the fish algae and other living organisms living in the sea causes the crystals to have the salty taste. But when people want to make salt the take a dish and dip it into the ocean and let it evaporate (which takes up to 6-9 months) after that little chunks are dried in the dish then adding water again makes it break up into smaller particles which is your everyday salt
