Optimism the war would end quickly was evidenced by the Schlieffen Plan, a war strategy. The Kaiser was so confident, he said he would have â??Paris for lunch, St. Petersburg for dinnerâ??. Although the start was fortunate things fell apart as the war quickly went out of control. PLease fix this it don't really make any since. Its like someone deleted some of theses things.Its not even right either.
