The French were devastated by the Hundred Years Wars. Their economy was in shambles. The Black Death followed the fighting and France lost nearly half its population to it. There was a peasant uprising. The constant defeats of chivalrous knights, by long bowmen brought dishonor to French chivalry.

(i) the artists like Frederic Sorrieu who created images that showed the people of Europe and America marching in a procession and paying homage to the Statue of Liberty which they personified as a female figure.

All revolutions based on the French Revolution do that. Then internal corruption brings the collapse of the revolution. When no other way is seen to exist to get rid of a powerful entrenched nobility, a French revolution may occur. When the task is to prevent a return of tyranny as it was in Germany after World War 2, an American Revolution may occur.
