∙ 12y agothe French Revolution led to war in Europe because the outcomes of the french revolution, liberte, egalite, and fraternite, (the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity) threatened the multi-ethnic empires in Europe at the time, such as the Austro-Hungarian Empire. they did not want these ideas spreading in their lands, which would be threats to the obsolute monarchy.
