At the end of BBS, Ventus is locked in a coma to which he will not wake up. Aqua takes his body to the Land of Departure and locks the world's keyhole, transforming it into Castle Oblivion, sealing Ven in so he won't be disturbed.
The Olympus Coliseum is a world that is eventually unlocked through progression of the storyline. In Kingdom Hearts, it is located in between Traverse Town and Deep Jungle. In Kingdom Hearts II, Olympus Coliseum is located right next to the Land of Dragons.
