How did the Soviet Union win the Battle of Stalingrad?

The USSR were victorious mainly due to the destruction of the German 6th Army. The reason for it was that due to the harsh conditions at the battle of Stalingrad and that the Soviets bombed most nearby German airfield, no logistic supports were able to come near the city of Stalingrad.

With the amount of resources that was used to try to help the German 6th army, there wasn't enough resources to keep on fighting for much longer so after a couple of operations to fight them back, the soviets won due to German retreat. The cause of all of this was because of Soviet defense prepared because of it being named after Joseph Stalin. The name significance made the USSR determine for victory and it took 3 months for the Nazis to get to the Volga river but was weakened by this point.
