it schould prevent Germany from getting important again, but Hitler ignored it so it was pretty much useless except of defering ww2
The difference is that the Treaty of Versailles was to help Germany repair itself after the Great War. The Marshall plan was to give Germany $12 billion to help it get in order to not start another war and try to help Germany so they would not get so conceided.
The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to give up its influence in the Ottoman region, which included Armenia. The Treaty of Sevres was meant to specifically establish peace between the Ottomans and the Allies, but it was never signed.
yes it did help hitler because it gave him a chance to build an army and violate the treaty
The Senate rejected the Treaty in March 19, 1920 President Wilson did sign the Treaty of Versailles, but he had foolishly refused to bring Representatives and Senators, particularly Henry Cabot Lodge, the majority leader in the house. This may have biased the legislature against the treaty, but the main reason the U.S. did not agree to the Treaty of Versaille was not that they thought it was too harsh, it was that the League of Nations had become part of the treaty. The U.S. did not want its foreign policy decided by another body, so they rejected the treaty. There is a certain irony that the League of Nations was the addition that the legislatures disliked, as it was the only part of Wilson's 14 points to make it onto the Treaty.
Because of the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty really punished Germany and Germany was in such a hard condition that they were desperate to do anything to get out of the desperate economy that they lived in. When Hitler came and said that he had a plan, everyone started listening to him and started doing what he said to do because he really did help Germany get out of their desperate economy and their economy started to do better. Then Hitler started the Nazi army and nobody did anything about it...

The treaty of Versailles did nothing of the sort!! It was the culmination of lengthy peace talks after the first world war between the Allies, to decide how badly Germany should be punished.
Hitler held on to the Treaty of Versailles and used it to convince the rest of Germany that the Allied Powers were to blame. He basically said that Germany should take revenge on Britain for the damages Britain did to them.
The Treaty of Versailles is basically charging the Germans 30 billion dollars and other turmoils. The Germans were looking for a new leader that would help them get back on track and thats why Adolf Hitler came into power.
The rise of fascism in Germany.
The Treaty of Versailles did not prevent war but rather provoked war. World War 1 led to World War 1 because of that treaty and the venom the Germans held toward that treaty.
treaty of Versailles: the peace treaty signed by German and the allied powers after world war 1 league of nations: an international association formed after world war 1 with the goal of keeping peace among nations

I think it actually was the cause of a major loss to Germany, though it was signed to help Germany and other countries.
