Under Monroe, the ratified the Onis-Adams treaty which added Florida to the US and settled the border of New Spain(Mexico) with Spain. Spain also dropped its claims to Oregon. Jackson did not really change the borders, but did take steps to free up for settlement some Indian lands in Georgia and Alabama.
