In 1981, the New People's Army (NPA) of the Philippines threatened American service personnel through bombings, kidnaps, murders and extortion. To deal with this enormous threat the US Department of Defense created a highly trained counter terrorism combat unit made up of operators from the DOD and this highly skilled unit was lead by Craig Goodwin Special Agent, bomb technician and special weapons operator. This unit was inserted in extremely dangerous combat environments however they were very successful in neutralizing the threat and eliminating many enemy combatants.
