The Black Death was spread by traders. It was commonly introduced to new areas by boat, as the boats commonly had rats on them. It was introduced in this way to England, and spread to other parts of Britain.
The black death arrived in Europe via sailors, these were the same sailors who tried to take seige of the city where the plague started. They tossed their dead corpses over the high walls of the city, the corpses had all died of the grim, deadly, black death. It was the black rat that had infected them at first. The fleas had dispirsed it. It was a disease formed inside the black rat which, the fleas brought out when they bit and drew blood from them.
These infected rats had all been on the ships that the sailors traveled on. When the sailors arrived in Italy, the residents refused to let them make Perth. However, they stayed but did not leave the ships but because they had tied the boat to the docks with guylines, the rats carring the disease could happily run of the ship and spread the disease as they wished.
The plague was spread when the rats themselves had died and the fleas had moved on for more blood, which was usually any flithy stranger. The fleas bit the people and added the infection into the victems bloodstream.
There was no cure at the time so after three days of agnosing pain, the victem passed away.
The Black Death or Bubonic Plague originated in Asia. Italian traders from Genoa had frequent contact with Mongol and Tartar traders and soldiers. It is believed that the Mongol and Tartar traders brought the plague from Asia and infected Italian traders and commodities. The plague traveled on trading routes and moved north from Italy through Europe, eventually infecting the United Kingdom and even Greenland.
I think that the bubonic plague or black death got to Europe by Ship. When merchants from Asia got on ships to go to Europe, there were rats that were on the ships. The rats carried the disease but it got to the people by the ticks that bit and swarmed around the rats. When the rats got around the European cities that were not the cleanest at the time, the ticks spread everywhere and since Italy was the main port country for Europe they were one of the first cites to get the disease. I'm only in High school but that's how I think the black death got to Europe.
