A first level consumer is one that consumes producers (plants) directly. First level consumers in the tundra biome would include small herbivores such as lemmings and rabbits, and large grazers such as elk.
Animals that eat first level/primary consumers (ie the carnivor that eats herbivore or omnivores) A mosquitoe is a secondary consumer, as is the artic fox, wolves and polar bear.

The treeless Arctic Tundra stretches from the north pole south latitudes 55° to 70° North. From that point south there are trees of the Taiga or Borial Forest.
Hubert Wilkins was the first man to explore the Arctic by plane.
the producer might be reindeer moss, the herbivore could be an acrtic moose, if those exist, or an animal that lives in the arctic tundra that only eats plants, the carnivore might be an arctic fox, and the decomposer could be fungiThe food chain is alive and thriving in the Arctic tundra. First, there is bacteria in the water, which small fish eat off of. The lakes are shallow. It is also very cold there, so most of the animals living there have fur coats, thick hide, lots of feathers, etc. Well In the primary producers is grass and other small flower-like plants that survive cold climates. Plants are short because the ground is warm, and they like being warm. Some plants even have hair. Next is the primary consumers. There are musk oxen, insects like mosquitoes, and lemmings. (rat-like creatures) Small predators, like the Snowy Owl and the Arctic Fox feed off of mostly the lemmings. There are much more animals I didn't mention, but I hope this gives you an idea of what its like! :)
Indians. Indians are what the europeans called the natives when they first met in the tundra region Canada.
