interesting one.
when the telegraph came, a messenge could go in stead of days over long distanses to mere seconds and minnuts. that meant news could travel fast. so instead of having to have a curier travel from a to b. you just needed one man on two sides and they could comunicate instantly, giving information.
so for news. they often used birds, menn on horse and so on. afther the telegraph only the paper took time to arive. but the news arived faster. important desisions did to.
and letters that was messenger could also go as fast as it needed to.
but in reality. mass media did not realy develop more than some days.
but it made it easyer to comunicate. some thing that was important for mass media.
