They didn't, Imperialism is a justification in of its self. The idea that the conquering of savage ignorant and uncivlised cultures in the glorious name of your home land, hardly an original idea.

∙ 10y agoThe Japanese government had a justification on the European imperialism. They felt that since they were more powerful the Koreans, they had more rights, and could basically do whatever they wanted.
