they can have the 2.0 DOHC 4g63 the 2.0 DOHC turbo 4g63t and they came with a 1.8 DOHC but I don't know the engine model. Just an FYI, the 1.8L motor in DSMs was a SOHC and had an engine code of 4G37. Cheers!
Behind the exaust manifold there is a machined flat plate that will have the numbers engraved on it. Since your asking about the Plymouth laser, due to the limited production years(given it is a DSM, 1990-94) the engine is most likely the 4G63 for non-turbo and 4G63T for turbo.
did they want freedom
any engine Plymouth made was available in the fury in 68 if you ordered it.
Laser, yes. Neon, no.Laser, yes. Neon, no.
I know for sure EAGLE TALON And Plymouth Laser had the same 2.0 motor..Ive owned one of each.
on the motor behind the dizzy
your best bet would be to pick up a hynes manual for the 90-94 eclipse talon and laser autozone sells them for about 20 bucks
Behind engine, under the inlet manifold.
No. The 420A is a Chrysler motor put into certain Mitsubishi/Eagle/Laser models. The GSX's turbo motor is a 4g63T Mitsubishi engine.
Just pull the old engine out and install a new one , you have to change motor mounts or the K-frame if you go to a bigger engine.
sure, you can use motor plates to hold it in.
