It can depend on many factors, of course, including the precise model. I would recommend researching the exact model you want, just Google it and see what comes up. Read through some forums and see if people report a lot of problems. There will ALWAYS be people who complain about a laptop because of their bad experience and there will always be people who say it's the greatest. Look for overall general trends. In all honesty, though, HP and Gateway have two of the absolute highest failure rates among all laptop manufacturers. They may have been improving that slightly, but it's good to bear in mind. If it comes down to it, when the study was done, Gateway had slightly lower failure rates than HP but both are in the top percentile.
Gateway laptops are generally designed to be smaller, and focussed less on intense graphics usage.
HP laptops vary from everyday user laptops (small or larger) to higher end laptops with more RAM, better gpus, etc.
HP computers are great computers and in my opinion I think they are better than Gateway. They even have a great customer service department. HP computers are known to be built to last the long haul and sometimes can last longer than a Gateway.
Peace, well it depends on the model and features between the two laptops. Not to mention if you like how it looks or it's texture.
Gateway computers are very good, and I'd consider getting one over a HP one, though it's really a judgement call.
The best answer that can be given for this is "not necessarily". Gateway tends to focus on the "cheap" end of the spectrum, in both senses of the word, while HP tends to go more for the "more expensive/higher quality" end. Whether this is "better" or "worse" comes down to a matter of personal taste and how much you're willing to pay.
TONS! There's Mac (Apple), Dell, HP, Gateway.... And more.
I would say Toshiba over gateway.
The Gateway 10.1 is a better netbook, because it performs the functions of a netbook better than the HP Mini 210 10.1. Although the HP Mini has a slightly stronger processor and and GMA card, the Gateway is superior where it matters. The Gateway has much longer battery life, at 6 hours, compared to the HP Mini's 4.25 hours. A netbook is used for portability so the longer the battery, the better! The Gateway also has a MUCH larger hard drive at 250GB, compared to the HP Mini's 160GB hard drive. More space allows the Gateway to store more mobile entertainment. Finally, the Gateway is also slightly cheaper than the HP Mini. For the purposes of a mobile netbook, the Gateway 10.1 is better than the HP Mini 210 10.1.

The warranty of Gateway laptop accessories can vary depending on the object. In general however, most Gateway laptop accessories will have warranties that last for a year.
There are some disadvantages to buying a Samsung laptop. Samsung is a company that is known for their cellphones and not computers. By purchasing a Samsung laptop you would not have the same quality as a company like DELL, HP, or Gateway.
