Sounds like the heater's temperature blend door is stuck in the hot positions.
See "Related Questions" below for lots more about dealing with it - hopefully yours is just the actuator and a simple repair.
compressor contactor is bad. probably stuck in the closed position.
yes.
Unplug it!
Make sure the key lock under the rear window is turned to the door unlock position ,not the glass unlock position.
the one possibility that i can think of is that your thermostat is stuck in the closed position not allowing the water to circulate threw the engine
Vaccum Leak
To fix it I would recommed taking it to your nearest Ford/Lincold/Mercury dealership. If it is stuck forward however..... Where the belt should be in the driving position there is a screw, take it out. There is a manual override in there, turn it clockwise until you can move the belt to the proper position. Spyder
Check your thermostat. Looks like it is stuck open and needs replacing. That could be why your engine is running cold. Atleast its not stuck in the closed position.
The air conditioner needs regassing
This sounds like a temperature blend door problem - with the door stuck in the heat position. See "Related Questions" below for information on Taurus/Sable blend door actuator motors and blend doors
It is probably out of Freon or R-22. Most automotive stores can check it for you. There are gauges you can buy also to check it yourself. If that is not it, there is a switch that can also go out. It is an very cheap fix if you do it yourself. Another cause might be the temperature blend door being stuck in the hot air position. See "Related Questions" below for more
