If you have lost the radio code, there are two places to check for it. Open the glove box and on left hand side you will see two white stickers. One should be the 5-digit radio code. Someone, I am guessing in the Service Department of my local dealership actually wrote my radio code on the right strut mount in permanent marker.
it will either be in your owner manual, or you can call an Acura dealer and tell them your vin and the serial number off of the radio, it is on the back, but easy to remove, and they can give you the code, i had to do it for my 02 rsx
I have a 1998 3.2TL. The code for the radio is on the bottom of the ashtray.
The owner of the car should have the card with the code.

underneth your ashtray there are numbers on it they are your radio code
the easiest way to do this is by disconnecting the battery for about 3 minutes and connect it back. Make sure you have the radio code before doing this because after the radio resets it will ask for the code. This method will also reset the GPS in the car and the GPS will also ask for the code to turn on.
you can look under your ash tray..or open the trunk and look on the inside top...somewhere near the middle there may be a sticker with 2 5-digit codes...for mine there was only one choice because the other contained digits higher than 6 (you enter the code using the 6 preset buttons on your radio)

Radio codes of Acura Tl vehicles are part of a standard anti-theft system. To the reset the system just unplug the battery from the car for at least five seconds.
Acura dealer does it for free but may charge you to get the radio code or serial number you can hold two buttons and get the code and just call the dealer or I think you can do it online too once you have the serial for the radio
