I'm not sure, but i would like to know where i can buy the plastic locks that the bulbs slip into, maybe a part number if possible.
Its relatively easy, if the light bulb is busted get a new one. unscrew the bolt on top of the signal light cover. twist carefully the bulb until u feel a slight push from the assembly. replace the bulb and put on the cover. if the old bulb is broken, you can use a pair of pliers to remove the broken bulb.
TUrn the light off and let the bulb cool for a short while. Then just twist it counterclockwise (to the left) to remove it.
open hatch on van , and remove 2 screws on the tail light , then slide tail light to the out side of van , for example , if u are working on passenger side tail light , slide it to your right , it DOES NOT come straight out it slides out , and the driver side light slides to your left. then twist connectors which holds the bulbs , and remove light. and push in and twist bulb its self to remove old bulb , and replace with new bulb the same way push new bulb in and twist opposite way
lift hood look at back of light threr is a twist lock simply twist to remove replace bulb and reinstall
To change a tail light bulb on a 1998 grand prix you have to first take out the carpet from the trunk. Next, you will be able to get to the bulb just remove the case holding covering the bulb then twist, remove and switch the bulb.
Remove rubber boot. Pull off plug. Twist light bulb 1/4 turn and bulb should come out.

The best way to remove a blub that has broken off at the base is to use a raw potato. Cut the potato in half and, with the light switch turned off, shove the raw edge of the potato onto the socket. The potato should grip the broken portion of the bulb and allow you to twist the bulb out easily. Replace the bulb as you would normally after making sure all potato residue is removed from the light socket.
Raise the back hatch there is two screws that hold the tail light on (2002 ford explorer) remove the tail light and twist out bulb housing , pull release clips and remove bulb. Install bulb in reverse.

Lift the hood and remove the socket that holds the bulb don't twist to hard they only twist half a turn to release then replace bulb and then put it back into the light assembly
