How do I remove the batteries from a Ford F250 diesel truck. They seem to be bolted in somehow.?

Check on the battery closest to the engine. There should be a bar that has 2 bolts in it. One on either side. If I believe right, I think it takes a 1/2 inch wrench. Maybe smaller. It depends on the year.
