Under the floor, mounted to the frame, just forward of the rear passenger side wheel.
The engine has to be removed.
Drain, remove upper/lower hoses, fan & shroud. Remove top mount plate (if applicable) Lift straight up.
No the wiring isn't the same
I had the oil pan replaced on my 1999 e350 cube van with a 7.3 powerstroke diesel last year. The mechanic had to disconnect the transmission, and raise the engine enough to remove the oil pan.

the batteries are mounted on the right hand side of the frame behind the passanger door there is a jump start terminal behind the second battery you will need a floor jack to change the batteries as you have to drop the batterie boxs down off of the frame to get at them
It is "stuck n drive" when you have not oiled your car recently. I have a e350 diesel trans and this also happened to me. You need to seek professional medical attention for this vehicle.
