How do I remove the radio in a 2007 Dodge Dakota?

step 1:

there are 2 bolt/screws on the bottom of your "carbon fiber" center console. right about the two cup holders.... unscrew those, and pull your face off from the bottom up... at the top there are two lips which stick into the upper dash. make sure not to break those, or the clips holding it in. be very careful it takes a little of pulling strength, so make sure not to add too much, or u could jack up your center console.

step 2:

once you have it slightly off of your dash; unhook your AC, passenger airbag light, and a few other plugs carefully.

step 3:

then undo the 4 screws at each corner of your head unit, the black larger ones, not the small ones.

step 4:

unplug your stereo from the 3 places on the back, 1 of them is your antenna, largest one is your speakers and power/digital, and the 2nd largest one, directly next to your largest one; (if i were to guess are your steering wheel controls)

and your done.
