You may need to tap it with a rubber mallet. You should remove the spark plug wires before doing so. I recommend changing the gasket when you replace the cover.
The mirror cover can be removed by removing the mirror cover retaining bolts. You can access the retaining bolts by removing the inside door panel.
After you have removed the cover from the lower half of the torque converter housing and driveplate you can remove the four bolts that secure the torque converter to the driveplate. Remove them one at a time by rotating the engine so that each bolt comes into view at the bottom where you have removed the driveplate cover.
On the left side, there is a cover held by bolts. [8mm] Circular shape. Lower fairing needs to be removed to get to all the bolts. When opening, oil will spill out. You will see the stator attached to the cover.
If all the bolts are out, lightly tap the corners of the cover with a rubber mallet. This should break the seal and the cover will come off.
Remove the plastic cover if your car still has it installed and remove the bolts holding the covers on and remove, the drivers side is a pain, you may have to remove other parts so they can be removed.
Underneath the coils. Remove the plastic head cover, Lossen all the coil pack bolts and fasteners, remove the coils and you will see the sparkplugs in the holes you just uncovered.
The two bolts you are referrring to are accessed through the oil pan. You will need to remove the oil pan and possibly inner baffling to remove.
There are two ten mm bolts on top in the plastic header panel which must be removed. There are two more under the bumper cover. You must remove the bumper cover to access them.
REMOVE TWO TOP BOLTS ON HEADLAMP ASSY. THEN REMOVE BUMPER COVER, THATS RIGHT THE BUMPER COVER, THEN REMOVE TWO BOTTOM BOLTS

To change the air filter on your Buick Regal, you will want to first unscrew the bolts holding on the cover. After the bolts are unscrewed and removed, remove the cover. Take out the air filter and replace it with the new one. Replace the cover and place the screws in the holes and tighten them.
The black clips will need to be removed they pry up in the middle to remove them, remove the cover over the battery and the cover along the windshield then you can remove the 2 ,10mm bolts that hold the battery bracket to remove the battery, let me know if you have more questions,
