But to save some time you don't have to take glove box apart. just open up the little cover and the filter has a small tab, its made so that you can PULL the filter out. The filter will bend, but this is necessary to remove it. And installing a new filter is just the same way that you pulled it out. You must sqeeze the filter to shrink it so that it can go back into the filter slot. Good Luck!

One can easily replace the cabin air filter for a 2007 Ford Ranger by getting help from a Chiltons manual. Another way, a little faster but more money will be paid out would be to take the Ranger to a mechanic.
