it is a 1976 Dodge with a slant six and is a manual.It only does it after it has been running awhile.is there a checklist to determine what's wrong.I have been told to let it idle till its cooled Down but when I park it I want to get out....not wait 20 minutes lol?
Be sure the timing and idle speed are set correctly and that the thermostat and cooling system is functioning properly.
