∙ 6y agoYou can go into your "My Settings" page (under Quick Links on the left menu). (This is also the same page as the "Profile Settings" tab on your Profile page.)
From that page (or your Profile page) select the Account Settings tab, then scroll down a little and you will see the "Email Updates" section. It has these options:
Email updates
Send me:
- All updates
- A daily digest of new unanswered questions to questions in categories I'm following.
- A daily digest of new answers to questions in categories I'm following.
- Real-time notifications about updated answers to questions I'm following.
- Notifications when I've been recommended.
- Notifications about new messages on my message board.
- Inside Answers.com (monthly email).
- Personalized unanswered questions that have been chosen especially for you.
- Weekly Update.
This page is also where you can turn off ads.

I've never seen a slideshow here, so I'm guessing the answer is 'Become a registered user, go to "My Settings," and check the box marked "Hide Advertisements".'
Is it possible to disable conversation type emails on Gmail?
Yes. Go to Settings->General. Under Conversation view you can turn it on or off.

because the inventor of answers.com thought of that name and it has answers.com because you can answer questions....

Go to your settings and click on email. There should be boxes you can check off to stop emails.
How do you protect friends from Cyberbullying?
You can tell your friend to stay off chatlines if they are being bullied there or, if they are receiving emails from bullies not to answer the emails and block that particular email address. When the person being cyberbullied is not answering then generally the bullies will turn their attention to someone else. If the messages are threatening then it should be reported.
