the Nativity Scene involve the Wise Men coming bearing gift to Baby Jesus. Two Gospel,
Matthew and Luke, wrote the birth of Jesus. These account show that only lowly shep-
herds from nearby fields visited Jesus at his birth. The so-called kings, or Wise Men,
were reality astrologer, not royalty, and they are not numbered. The astrologers did not
journey to the side of a newborn in a manger but arrived when Jesus was a child and
was live in a house. Their presence even jeopardized the life of Jesus. Now examine
the account at Matthew 2:1-11 from the King James Bible: "Now when Jesus was born
in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from
the east to Jerusalem... And when they were come into the house, they saw the young
child with Mary his mother. Notice that the account states just "wise men" not "three
wise men" and that they first traveled from the east to Jerusalem, not to the birth city
of Jesus, Bethlehem. By the time they finally reached Bethlehem, Jesus was a "young
child"- no longer baby - and no longer in a stable but in a house. Would true
Christians want to perpetuate a fabled Nativity that distorts the truth surrounding the
birth of Jesus? Surely the answer is no.
You start loving and training the child. There are no rituals or solemn events setup and advocated. Many witnesses feel a gratefulness to their creator and a deep responsibility to care for the precious gift they now have.
There are many different type of Christianity based religions. Jehovah's Witnesses are one themselves. Being a christian is basically about believing that Christ was alive, and that he did come to earth at one point in time. The difference about Jehovah's witnesses and some other Christians is that Jehovahs witnesses believe that Christ was Jehovah's son, not God himself. And so, to answer your question, Jehovahs witnesses do not date girls or boys from different religions, Christian or not. If someone were to be in a relationship with a person who has a different god, it would almost be like he believes in that god as well. If a witness were to date a girl or boy of a different religion, it would be because he or she is not truly worshiping Jehovah.
Yes. Jehovah's witnesses do their best to try not to litter, pollute unnecessarily, or destroy earth's natural balance. In fact, they feel strongly about those who DO ruin the earth because at Revelation 11:18, it says that Jehovah will bring to ruin those ruining the earth.
I grew up as a Jehovahs witness and I always felt worse when people made a huge deal in making thing separate. All people are different in their beliefs and some are more strict then others, but in general Jehovahs witnesses are kind and will resectfully back away if there is anything that they feel uncomfortable with. Just talk to the person, I am sure they will let you know how they feel, and where they draw the line. For the most part though they will not take part of any holiday events and if they have been practiceing long they will be use to not being involved.
Baptists sometimes put out nativity scenes and they usually recite the Christmas story (found in Luke). Some churches have a children's Christmas play. Baptists feel that Christmas is a very special time to celebrate Jesus's birth. They do typical things though, like put up Christmas trees and open presents.
what ever they feel like doing
yes but if you feel uncomfortable then no
Generally it is to be done not casually but with a view to finding a marriage mate.
jehovah's wittnesses confirm/get baptised wheenever they as a person feel ready. they are not forced into anything.
Cauze when you read it you feel that you are watching those scenes
I believe so as there is no other organisation that is known for their preaching as much as Jehovah's witnesses. for example Mormon's do going on a preaching work campaign but only do it for 3/4 years however Jehovah's witnesses preach as much as they can as they feel that it is a commission that has been given to them by god.
The official site for information about Jehovah's Witnesses is JW.org You can find locations of conventions there, also read the Bible online and other publications such as the Watchtower and Awake magazines. Feel free to visit the site!
