Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church) worship through many of the same ways as Roman Catholics. For example, Mormons worship through song, prayer, and reading God's word.
A Mormon worship service does look pretty different from a Cathlic Mass, however. Mormon services are not as ceremonial as Mass and involve less audience participation.
At a Mormon service, the Bishop and others leading the worship are already seated at the front of the sanctuary before the service begins, there is no procession. The Bishop will stand and give a few announcements, and then outline the service for the day. The congregation will then sing a hymn, and someone from the congregation will offer a prayer. There will be another hymn followed by the sacrament, which is similar to communion.
For the Sacrament/Communion, Priests bless bread and water (rather than wafers and wine), which the deacons then bring to the congregation (rather than the congregation going to the front). The blessing is a short prayer, rather than the longer blessing ceremony which is found in Catholic Mass.
Following the Sacrament/Communion, a few members of the congregation will speak either on assigned topics or simply bear testimony. There is no scripture recitation, and the only time the congregation speaks is to answer 'amen' at the end of prayers or sermons.
After the sermons by congregation members, the congregation sings another hymn and then a closing prayer is offered.
