Atheists feel the same about their friends as everyone else. They feel the same as Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, artists, musicians, firefighters, mail carriers, people who like Chocolate Chip Cookies and people who like the color blue do about their friends.
Atheists have the same view about friends as everyone else.
Atheists believe friends exist.
That is not a question. Atheists view friends as friends.
same as everyone else...
Friendship has nothing to do with religion, but the common trend is for atheists to be capable of having friends of any faith and not have constant nagging in the back of their mind. aside from that, atheists are all for sociality.
Atheists have friends like anyone else; existentialism is irrelevant.
We have and love our friends like anyone else.
I don't think it's just atheists who feel this - some people of all kind of beliefs and philosophies feel that marriage is not for them.
Why not? I am friends with Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Taoists, atheists and probably a few more. It enriches life.
No. Mostly groups who feel threatened by the meer presence of an Atheist do.
Like most people they hang out with people they feel comfortable with. This may include other atheists, interesting people of all stripes, musicians, welders, sky divers, chess players - whatever. Most of these people never bring up the topic of religion as it just isn't that central to their lives or feel that it is none of their business to influence a friends private life.
Atheists don't hate God; they simply don't think that God exists. This does not mean they hate God anymore than not believing in the tooth fairy makes you hate the tooth fairy.
