Usually all bats catch their prey through echo-location.Some bats like the fruit bat can see in light as clearly as we do.Though no bat has been found yet that can see in the dark like cats. But the eyesight of the fruit bat is wasted as all bats are nocturnal mammals. Jaguars can catch their prey in many ways. I will just say one way though. They catch their prey by stalking and then abushing their prey at night. Hope this will help! :P =P :) :]
Most bats catch prey using their ears through a process called echolocation. They send out a high pitch (high frequency sound) which is above the human hearing range, and this sound echos off of their surroundings. Their ears are designed to catch this echo, and then they process the echos to get a sort of "mental image" of their surroundings. See Related Links for more info.
