How do you change the battery in mazda 5 key?
Changing a Mazda 2 battery in the key fob is quite simple. You will need to use a flat head screwdriver to pry open the fob. You will then take the battery out with the screwdriver and replace it.
First, one needs to press the button on the key fob to release the key and flip the fob open. A small tab will then be visible. Push the tab in and the the key assembly should easily slide out. The user should then take the half without the key and open it with a regular flathead screwdriver. It takes one 1620 battery.

The fob must be gently pried apart, the electronics unit removed, the battery replaced, the electronics unit reinstalled, and the fob snapped back together. Your owner's manual should tell you how, if not ask your dealer.

Changing the battery on a Viper alarms key fob is very easy to do. The back of the key ob. comes off and the battery is located inside. Simply change out the battery with a new one and replace the back of the key fob.
To change the battery, just take a coin and insert it in the whole at the bottom of the key fob, twist it and it will pop apart. Battery is right inside.
