You might have to take the heatshield off of it first, but I'm not 100% sure. You should definitely use some WD-40 and let it soak around the sensor for a day or so.

It's in back of the engine. Look for where the exhaust pipe reaches the engine and you'll see a wire coming out of it. That's where the oxygen sensor is. I think you have to take the heatshield off to repair it.

Remove the oxygen sensor vacuum to. Remove the oxygen sensor screws. Reverse the process to install the new oxygen sensor.

The 1981 Ford Crown Victoria does not have an Oxygen sensor.
It screwed in to the exhaust manifold. To change it you unplug the sensor and unscrew it with an O2 sensor socket.
It has both.
