the rear hub assembly comes off rather easy. 1 remove wheel, 2 remove brake drum, 3 locate 4 bolts going from outside in, 5 obtain a 15mm short socket; 2 or3" extension and ratchet, 6 turn all 4 to the left to loosen(may need a breaker bar or a cheater bar on your ratchet), 7 remove bolts,8 carefully tap on hub as to not tear up brake componets; at the same time catching hub in hand and disconnect the ABS connection from the rear of the hub, 8 replace with a reputable aftermarket component, 9 assemble in reverse order torqueing the bolts to Mfg. specifications. it all depends on which wheel bearing you are trying to replace. for your front wheel bearings you have to remove the brakes, and axel. then you have to have a new bearing pressed into the housing. for a rear wheel bearing most of the time you can only purchase a pre packaged hub assembly. to replace that remove the brakes then remove the four bolts located on the rear of the hub assembly and it should come right off.

THE BEARING ASSEMBLY IS NOT REMOVABLE FROM the hub. It's replaced as a unit.
I assume that it will be like a 1998 Sienna van. There is a sealed bearing in the hub assembly and you change the whole assembly. There are four bolts that hold the hub assembly to the suspension.

Hi I am assuming "change the brakes" refers to the Brake Pads, front and rear ? If this is correct the job in hand is straight forward. However, if you are completely replacing the brakes eg: Upgrade, then that's a whole new venture.
