The Crankshaft Position sensor is located inside your distributor.
They do not sell this piece separate from the distributor.
It is possible to go to a pick-a-part and remove the distributor housing that contains a CYP, CKP, and TDC sensor and replace yours with this one.
Just make sure to put a warranty on it if possible.
Check this Web site for details on replacing a Crankshift Position Sensor or CKP: http://www.v8sho.com/SHO/CrankshaftPositionCKPSensorRemoval.htm
check the CKP sensor (crankshaft position sensor). It is usually used for injector triggering on 90's GM vehicles.
No the ckf and the ckp are not the same sensor for a 2000 Honda civic. The crank fluctuation sensor is behind the crank pulley and can be changed fairly easy with some mechanical knowhow when the timing belt is done. The crank position sensor is built into the distributor. To change this sensor you would have to rebuild the inside of the distributor or replace the entire distributor. Hope this answers your question.
Crankshaft position sensor.
CMP= Cam Shaft Position Sensor.
A CKP is the crankshaft position sensor. The engine computer uses that sensor to know the position of the crankshaft for fuel and ignition timing purposes. With out the ckp the engine will not run.

# The CKP sensor is located on the front side of the engine block # Unplug the CKP sensor electrical connector and remove the mounting bolt and remove the sensor
Knock sensor = CKP sensor on this vehicle.
No, there is not.
