Like all insects they have an exoskeleton, and they also use their speed and agility to evade predators.
Note that only about 1% of animals is vertebrate and has bones. The rest does just fine with exoskeletons, shells or nothing at all (worms, jellyfish etc).
if your wondering about back bones, dragonflies do not have them...they have exo-sceletons. Its like scales.
They protect themselves with their horns, made with really strong bones , and thick skin used as a shield to protect themselves.
Yes because if they didn't they wouldn't be able to fly or stand or walk.
WHEN THE WOODS AND THE BONES AND PARTS OR PLants.
Bones hold you up. Without them you'd be a floppy jellyfish. Your bones also help to protect the soft parts inside your body.
A hard shell to protect the brain. Provides structure...without bones we'd be kind of squishy useless creatures. Nasal / jaw bones and neck cartilage protect airway.
Bones support and protect your body. Without bones, you would be a giant pile of plop. :) Bones also protect your inner organs such as your heart,( protected by ribs) or your brain (protected by skull). Skin also protects your insides as well..... if I am correct... The immune system and skin protect the body from microbes and germs.
Well, without bones, your body would be like jelly. the muscles themselves cant sustain all the weight of your body, so that's when the bones come in and do their job to hold everything up and move around :)
Your bones protect your internal organs from injury.
Bones are important because without bones you cannot move or stand or sit.
To maintain structure to the body, to move the body, to protect other organs ( yes, bones are considered an organ ), and to produce red and white blood cells, and to store minerals.
Humans have many bones that don't protect internal organs like your finger bones (which are called phalanges and metacarpals)
