The effects of drugs and teens can be many. Ranging from physical effects on the body and organs to relational effects with parents and friends. The common effects of drug abuse leads to addiction and dependence to the substance. This addiction can last throughout a persons life if the right help isn't received. You see, it's not just the substance abuse that is issue. There is a whole other side to addiction that is connected with secrecy, emotional wellness, handling situations appropriately, relationships, and the list can go on. Though one may suppress and hide ones drug abuse, these other issues reveal them selves as apart of this drug addiction.

Drugs can affect teens' health in so many different ways, most just end up killing them. First of all, they can damage your brain cells. Also, drugs like cigars, can pop some of your air sacs, which are in you lungs, and if too many get popped, you won't be able to breathe. Other drugs, like tobacco, can shrink your veins, which flow of blood, causing your heart to beat too fast. I'm a sixth grader, and I know this already, so you should too. It'll save you a lot of time.
