It would be amazing to see a Crested gecko close its eyelid when it goes to sleep as they do not have them. Crested Geckos are part of the lidless gecko family. What actually happens when they sleep is their pupils contract to the smallest of slits and the eye will sink slightly into the orbital socket.
You also may ask you to reptiles sleep without shutting their eyes. Most everything can learn to sleep with their eyes open but reptiles still have their "second eyelid" that they can put over the eye to keep it moist as they sleep allowing them to not shut their eyes completely since the second eyelid is transparent. If you look at dogs sometimes their second eye lid will show if you wake them abruptly or lift their eyelid when they sleep.
By going to bed and shutting your eyes.
Their tongue. Geckos can and do lick their eyes.
Crested Geckos do not have eyelids. They rehydrate their eyes by licking them. You can tell if a crested gecko is sleeping by when the little spikes above its eye are slightly angled down.
NO - Leopard geckos are not venomous. The shape of their eyes is no indication.
Get more sleep!
shutting your eyes half way:)
it means that your eyelids start to shut down and you try to open them but they keep shutting because you must be tired if you want to stay awake just lick the top of your mouth. It worked for me.
giraffe, okapi
