It's quite cool actually. They are the only species on the entire planet where the male gestates the unborn babies.

Agreed. The female seahorse deposits the eggs into a sack-like obtrusion on the front of the male, who then fertilizes and carries them until they are ready for birth. At this point, he simply 'expels' them from an opening in the sack and, voila! Baby sea horses!

well it depends on what type of seals you are talking about... a lion seal mates with a female by fighting off with another sea lion....same with sea elephants hope that was useful
