Rabbits groom themselves and each other with their tongue, by licking their fur.
For hard to reach spots (like the forehead), rabbits groom themselves by licking their front paws and using those as a cloth. Rabbits will use this technique for their ears, too, but they will also sometimes pull the ears down across their face, where they can reach them with their tongue.
For the insides of the ears, rabbits will reach up with their hind legs and use their toe nails to scratch out parasites and debris and earwax. (Rabbits eat their earwax; sounds digusting, but it's a source for Vitamin D!)
Pet rabbits can't be left to their own devices, when it comes to grooming. If they consume much fur, serious digestive problems can result (leading to death), so they must be brushed regularly(especially while moulting). Other grooming tasks, like nail clipping, must also be performed regularly at home. See the related questions/links below for more details.
yes hamsters do groom themselvels by licking their hands and rubbing it around their body.Pretty cool huh? but once in a while they could use a little trim. so its always a good idea to cut it before it gets to thick. so use my advice for your hamster!!!! Grace
They are adapted in many different ways. Such as they have long whiskers so that underground in their burrows they can stop way before they crash into anything. Also they have long claws and strong arms for digging their burrows. Hope this helps. :)
Just the same as they do as a pet, by licking themselves.
