The original Hindu faith known as the Sanatana Dharma tells us that we are not the body that dies, we are not even the mind that you cannot find. Therefore when we die, the Spirit in us, the Atman or the Soul is liberated and united with the Divine Spirit. However to make this world continue, God has created Karma, and to fulfill Karma, the Mind and Ego, the ME of the one who dies takes rebirth in a new body to settle Karmas. The Sanatana Dharma believes that we should realize we are not the body and mind, and then we will be liberated in which case the ME doesn't exist. This realization will stop our returning to earth again and again. This is called Mukti or Moksha, in Buddhism is is called Nirvana.
Hinduism believe in Moksha (liberation) or Nirvana (Liberation). After you achieve Moksha (liberation) or Nirvana (Liberation) you are united with one Supreme God.
Lord brahma was the Supreme God and creator of this world. Thus Hinduism belief states that every one is connected wit Lord Brahma.
